STC Kids

From the oldest to the youngest, everyone is welcome in God’s family.

Kids Church happens during both our morning gatherings on Sundays. At 9am, there is Little Stars for 0-4s. At 11am, there are groups for 0-Y10. Children stay with their grown ups and join in with the beginning of the gathering for a family worship song, before heading to their groups. Sunday Youth for Y6-10 also happens during the 11am.

If your child has additional needs, please speak to a member of the Kids Team. We would love to help them feel welcome and included!

STC Kids Groups

  • Family Space

    A relaxed, welcoming area for babies, toddlers, and young children who aren't quite ready to join one of our children's groups independently. In this space, parents and carers stay with their children and remain responsible for them throughout the gathering.

    The gathering is live-streamed into the room, so there’s no missing out while the little ones play and explore. There’s also a quieter, cosy area in this room for feeding babies.

    Little Stars

    9am (0-4s) and 11am (1-3)

    At Little Stars, even the littlest ones are invited to shine! Our friendly team provides a nurturing space where children can play and begin to explore God's love in a way that's fun and engaging. Each week we read a Bible story, learn a simple ‘Toddler Truth’, make a craft and sing songs together.

    Sparklers

    3-5 year olds

    Sparklers is a fun and friendly group with time each week for games, snacks, storytime and craft, centred around a story from the Bible. We help children discover who Jesus is and how much God loves them in ways they can understand and enjoy.

    Comets

    Year 1-3

    Comets enjoy more energetic games, thoughtful discussion and creative crafts based on the Bible story for that week. Children are encouraged to explore who Jesus is and what he means to them, and see how His love applies to their everyday lives.

    Rockets

    Year 4-5

    Rockets is a chance for older children to dive into the Bible through discussion. Each week we play games and explore a Bible story, focusing on Jesus, asking big questions and discovering how His love can shape how we live.
