Pastoral Support & Structures
Pastoral care at STC reflects our vision to see the revival, revitalisation and renewal of our city. We are passionate about people being cared for, becoming whole, and flourishing as disciples of Jesus.
We believe one of the best ways to grow in faith and wellbeing is by being part of a midweek community, which we call Tables. These are small groups where we journey through life together by studying God’s Word, praying, and supporting one another.
We also recognise that there are times in life when extra support is needed. That’s where our Wellbeing Team comes in. This team is made up of trusted members of our church community who are available to listen, pray with you, and walk alongside you for a short season. While they’re not professional counsellors, they can help you process what you're going through and, where appropriate, point you in the direction of trusted resources, services, or charities across Sheffield.
If you’d like to access support from the Wellbeing Team, or be signposted to professional support outside of the church, speak to your Table leader or the Wellbeing & Pastoral Lead.
Our aim is that every person knows they are seen, valued, and supported.
