Church Planting & Grafting

A key aspect of our mission to be for the city is to play our part in seeing the revitalisation of the church in Sheffield. There are many amazing churches in our city, yet in certain areas, the church is under-represented. We are committed to starting new churches, as well as partnering with existing communities to see this happen.

A recent example of a church plant from STC is All Nations Fir Vale. A team from STC, many of whom had lived in the area for a long time, began meeting to worship and pray in September 2022. All Nations is now a growing and diverse independent Baptist Church.

When invited by the Diocese or YBA, we also serve other churches by seeking to strengthen them in different ways. Two recent examples of this are groups who have been sent from STC to join Christ Church Stannington and St John's Park.
