Lent is the period in the year from Ash Wednesday (5th March) to Maundy Thursday (17th April). During this time, we remember Jesus being led to the wilderness to be tempted in Matthew 4. It is a time where we reflect upon our humanity, our brokenness and our need for a Saviour - Jesus.

Often, people will decide to give something up or take something on during Lent. We’d love to encourage you to consider how during this time (and hopefully beyond) you might take steps to reduce your carbon footprint. As a church and as individuals, we are seeking to be more aware of how to steward God’s creation well, especially given the consequences of climate change on people around the world.
