Come and intern with us! You’ll be part of the New Wine Discipleship Year (NWDY) based at the Sheffield Hub (STC Sheffield & Network Church Sheffield).

All interns will serve on Sundays as well as come together for teaching days with input, practical workshops and sessions focusing on spiritual formation, mission and discipleship. This happens on a Thursday. The other 3 days of the week, interns are on placement on either the ministry or mixed pathway.

With the ministry pathway, you will spend your placement time serving in your allocated ministry area. Ministry pathway placements are exclusively with Kids, Youth, Students or Creative.

With the mixed pathway, you will serve 1-2 days a week in your allocated ministry area with a broader range of areas to serve in. This option also provides the opportunity to be out in the world and find part-time employment. Your external employment may be 1-3 days a week, some of which would be within your placement time. We can be flexible with this!

There is also the opportunity to be placed at another church within our network, but still joining with other interns for teaching on Thursdays.

All interns will be provided with accommodation (bills included), however, interns on the ministry pathway receive a weekly allowance, whereas mixed pathway interns will support their own living costs via employment.

The internship runs from early September to late July and is for ages 18-25.
